What is your idea of perfect happiness? More financial security, more liquid assets and savings, more creature comforts and sensual pleasure! What do you dislike most about your appearance? I love how I look - I celebrate it! Which living person do you most despise? Cultivating loathing, hatred and peeves are not what I'm about. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? "Some such," and, "in the vernacular." What is your greatest regret? Not having lost my virginity at 14 when offered the chance by this raging hot dude. When and where were you happiest? In the passenger seat of the car when it's just parked... Until mom rousts me to get out of her ride! What is your greatest fear? Tie between vehicular accidents; and flying, stinging insects like wasps and bees. Which living person do you most admire? At this very moment, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, for real talk, yo. What do you consider your greatest achievement? A year in Japan when I was 17 to 18 as a Rotary Exchange student, building ties between America and its friend across the Pacific - that was very necessary and important work! What is a trait you most deplore in others? The combination of malice and dishonesty. What is your greatest extravagance? French ice cream. What is your favorite journey? The trip home. What do you consider the most overrated virtue? None of them are overrated, and I consider moral consistency, and an aversion to hypocrisy to be in fact underrated. Who are your favorite writers? Toni Morrison wrote my pick for the Great American Novel, Song of Solomon; and Isaac Asimov for that quintessential, New York of the future experience. On what occasion do you lie? When if I don't, I'll die directly as a result - in immediate peril, in other words. Which talent would you most like to have? I want to sing as well and as beautifully as Beyonce. What is your current state of mind? Insomniacal and overcaffeinated. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I'd be raising my own baby girl. If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do think it would be? A middle aged mama figure somewhere along a river in China. I think I'd have a pig and some geese. What is your most treasured possession? The love of all the wonderful people with whom my life teems like Grand Central Terminal on a weekend. What is your motto? Semper Lepidus. What is it you most dislike? Rank bigotry and eliminationism. Where would you like to live? With Corporal Rosenthal, wherever. What is your most marked characteristic? My massive attitude. What do you most value in your friends? Their tender parts that need my protection from an often shitty world. Who is your favorite hero of fiction? Toss up: Buffy Summers and Major Motoko Kusanagi.
