Dedicated to Margaret Cho
May my fear and false modesty
Drop from me and ripple through
The tittering audience, who knew
That to, "give the woman some air,"
Meant they should not crowd her;
And that it needs not that heckle from the stage:
"But I was about to come." Amen.
[NOTE: There's nothing risible about such trying times as these in which we live and die, but I needed a good belly laugh - if only at my own male crapulence.]
